Previously we talked a little about how the ebooks in your PLR-Content.com members’ area can be used to make money. Today, it’s time to talk about the role of content in making money. The PLR articles in the PLR-Content.com members’ area are a perfect starting place for all of your content needs.
Put simply, content makes the Internet go round…
- Web pages need content
- Blogs need content
- Newsletters or eZines need content
Think about the ways that you can market your websites:
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Paid Advertising (pay-per-click, banners, text ads, etc.)
- Article Marketing (“Bum Marketing”)
- Blogs and RSS Feeds
- Publicity Releases
- Newsletter (eZines)
- Free Reports
- Etc.
The only marketing method above that that does not revolve around content is paid advertising.
The Private Label Rights for the articles in your PLR-Content.com members’ area allow you to claim authorship and modify and use them as you see fit for personal use. And you can even create ebooks or reports from the articles and sell or give them away (in non-editable form) with personal use rights, Resale Rights, or Master Resale Rights.
As I mentioned previously with the ebooks, the real power of Private Label Rights is the ability to make the products different from what anyone else has. Most people who read this will not take the time to modify the articles before using them… and they will miss out on many of the possible benefits. But the good news is that if you are someone who will take the time to use the full benefits of Private Label Rights articles, you will have something that no one else has.
Looking at the list above, here are a couple of the benefits:
SEO: Google and other search engines are in the business of delivering the best results for people’s search terms. They definitely do not want to return a page of results that are all the same article on different websites. What does this mean? Google will pick what it feels is the best website with a given article and relegate the other copies to their supplementary results database. It’s a good idea to modify articles at least 40-60% for use on web pages, blogs, etc.
Article Marketing: Article directories consider it spamming when they receive multiple copies of the same article with different authors’ names. Ezine Articles will even ban you for using PLR like this. Can you blame them? It’s a pain to try to catch all duplicate content, and it lowers the quality of their directories. PLR articles need to be as close to 100% modified as possible for article directories (and don’t submit PLR articles to Ezine Articles at all).
It’s not that hard to modify articles. There are a couple tools (Unique Content Generator Pro and Article Rewriter Pro) in the PLR-Content.com members’ area for rewriting articles. These aren’t bad (especially Article Rewriter Pro), but my personal favorite rewriting tool is DupeFree Pro:
DupeFree Pro is a free rewriting tool, its only disadvantage is that the rewriting is manual, it just helps and compares the old and new copies of the articles. But no other rewriting tool that I know of will produce results as good.
When rewriting articles, don’t disconnect your brain. Most PLR articles can easily be improved. What would you do different, or word differently? What stories or analogies can you think of that are perfect for the article? Add you own personality and flavor. Turn a dry article into one that people will really enjoy reading. Be creative. You will get something that is uniquely your own and that produces far better results.
